Team Aniradichita collaborates with Kanan International to perform at ‘Footprints- the national-level technical event’ hosted by Faculty of Technology and Engineering, MSU, Baroda. 

A theatrical collaboration between team Aniradichita and Kanan International results into a fruitful performance at ‘Footprints 2022- the national-level technical event’ hosted by Faculty of Technology and Engineering, MSU, Baroda. The Footprints for the year 2022 started on 4th March and ended on 6th March. Team Aniradichita in association with Kanan International presented a theatrical performance of street-play. The team made a collaborative effort to demonstrate the value of studying abroad and help the aspirants to create a roadmap for those who want to pursue their career abroad. The motive of the presentation was to spread awareness and clarify the confusion of the students regarding study abroad.


The story revolves around a mechanical engineering student who wants to decide if he should pursue his masters in India or go abroad for further studies. As he lacks proper counselling and guidance, he is unable to decide what to do. The story continues and finally we see how he accomplishes his dream of studying abroad with help of Kanan International. Team Kanan helps him with the counselling and guidance he needs before flying to a strange country; these services and offerings include from free counselling, coaching for IELTS, mock test, helping them to choose best country and university in the world, to getting their visa approved and pre-departure session for students and parents with their value added services of Education Loan, Forex, Life Insurance, International SIM Card, accommodation etc. The characters were played by the actors of team Aniradichita in various roles. The actors Jay Patel, Rugved Pathak, Samarth Shrimali, Bhargav Parmar, Dhruv Shah and Kishan Suthar impress the audience with their magnificent performance.

The team was able to attract a crowd over 2000 people through their unique jamming session on stage as well as sessions during the intervals between different slots allotted for performing the play. And thus, receiving the applause and appreciation from both the audience as well as team Kanan present there to witness the show. The team was able to interact and involve the audience creatively during the live performance which remains the highlighting part of this journey of three days at Footprints.



Mrs. Biral Bhardwaj, a certified British Council Master Trainer for IELTS and has a vast experience in the field of study who has been the winner of Mrs. India 2018-19 and the subtle winner of Mrs. Vivacious 2018-19 and also heads the Department of Partnership of Educational Institutions at Kanan International was very happy with this amazing association. She shares her experience on association with Aniradichita Theatre and Films and says, “The experience has been very different and unique, first of its kind. What I had thought was translated into a live performance of the team on stage. I was very happy and overall experience with Aniradichita has been completely satisfying. The team was able to hit the emotional quotient of the students’ mind through the street-play.”  She furthers goes on to say, “Whatever we have done so far for the students, team Aniradichita was able to show through live performance in a very short span of time using the audio visual live medium and justify the process we follow in order to help the aspirants who wants to study abroad. I had the conviction in collaborating with Aniradichita because of the possible impact of a audio-visual medium on the minds of students as you (Aniradichita Theatre and Films) work extensively with students and this is the best possible pathway to win the heart of a student who is our main target audience.”


Rugved Pathak, one of the members of team Aniradichita shares his debut experience as an actor. He says, “I was pretty scared in the beginning but once I was on the stage, I decided to not look into the eyes of the audience but to look at their heads. And thus, I was able to manage my nervousness on the stage.” He adds further, “I understood the value of voice exercise, emotions and body-postures. Also, I learnt about when to engage with the audience during the performance and when I should not”.

Jay Patel, who has newly joined the team and is a student of Parul University, shares with us that “I learnt how to interact and engage audience during the live performance. It also helped me learn how to handle the pressure in front of the audience”.

Samarth Shrimali, our team member who is a student of Faculty of Performing Arts – MSU  says, “I learnt to be patient after joining team Aniradichita. During these three days at Footprints, I learnt team work and how to coordinate with each other on stage. It also helped boosting my confidence level as an actor”.

The play was written and directed by Aniket Pandya and the Associate  Director Namita Pandya along with the young energetic team of Aniradichita. Being the Founder of Aniradichita, Aniket Pandya also puts emphasis on the importance of having interaction and involvement with the live audience while performing a street-play.  He says, “Theatre is a powerful tool which is given by great Indian culture to us and like every other tool theatre makes our lives easy, be it personal, professional, corporate or spiritual lives – you think of a life and theatre has an influence on it.
