Why Move On?

You ask me to move on from you but do you know this fact?

That time we spent together in my heart is all intact.

You ask me to move on from you but answer me a doubt:

Why did it make a great effect when we broke up aloud.

You ask me to move on from you as you feel embarrassed,

The fact remains that you are still in those memories abreast.

You ask me to move on from you but have you realized?

That moment you were going apart, you’d tears in your eyes.

You ask me to move on from you, for you it doesn’t matter,

Then why did that going apart had made your heart all shatter?

You ask me to move on from you so tell me one thing straight!

Is it ‘cause you’ve moved on from me or ‘cause you’re afraid?

You ask me to move on from you as no option is left,

So is there something yet alive that’s burning in your chest?

You ask me to move on from you as you did wear a smile.

That means you had that pain in you, that time was all worthwhile.

You ask me to move on from you, there’s nothing to continue.

I ask you to move on from me and then start something new.

I ask you to move on from me and erase all that time,

When things were not okay between us, let make them sublime.

I ask you to move on from me and forget that bad past,

And live the day we have today that’s running away so fast.

I ask you to move on from me and see I’m all new,

A person who can hold your hand and say, “I love You”

I ask you to move on from me if you really want to do,

Then dare erase that time and stop sympathizing yourself too.

Excuses are million; you have, to never be back here.

But one good reason I do have bring you back my dear.

But! If coming is compulsion for you then you may go.

Your smile will keep me up alive and my smile too will glow.

But yes! I’ll miss you all my life and always keep on trying;

You ask me to move on from you, don’t worry, I won’t be crying…
